I wish we were still planning our trip!! I feel sad that it's now
all in the past. I cannot believe it is over!! But, all good things come to an
end!! What matters most is that everything went so well and we now have so many
happy, colourful memories.
Yes,we had such a good time and I am so grateful
to you and all the staff in your office who worked for our tour and made it all
run so smoothly. Every detail was taken care of and nothing went wrong throughout
our 25 days of travel. This is quite an achievement. I know because I have travelled
alot in the past. It's not difficult for things to go wrong sometimes!
I would like you, on our behalf, to thank everyone that was involved. First of
all Bikram, our driver. He scores top marks in everything that one could ask from
a driver....good driving, polite, patient and he always looked clean and presentable.
It was wonderful to get into the Tata safari every morning and to be greeted with
the lovely fragrance of incense!!
Then all the representatives and guides.
Each and eveyone of them was great. If you would ask me to choose the top 4, I
would say Rai in Varanasi, Vishwanath in Agra ( who also surprised us with his
great photographic talent!!), Damu in Pushkar, Natraj in Udaipur and Singh in
Jodhpur ( his english was amazing). It's not always easy to be a guide...people
want different things ( some like alot of facts, others are not at all interested
in facts, some take
endless photos, others ask endless questions etc)!! Please,
thank them all for what they gave us. As for the reps, a special thanks to Niti
in Varanasi, Lalit in Khajuraho, Ajay in Jodhpur and , ofcourse, Naka in Delhi.
All the hotels were fantastic. Here I would like to just add 2 comments.
Maybe it would be worth telling people that are booking at Udaivilas that for
about $100 more they could get a room with a pool ( sharing) infront of their
verandah. We would have definitely chosen that because these rooms are amazing....Next
time!!! And also at Deogarh Mahal..our room was so lovely, but, we could have
tried the Maharaja's suite just for an extra $100. These are by no means complains,
just details that could add a tiny little extra to something that is already perfect!
The
most difficult part was the tipping and the anxiety of turning down offers from
guides to go for shopping!! Well, it was specially difficult for me because Alexander
hates shopping and this created a little tension.

Nothing, though, would have been
possible had you not been as efficient and reliable as you were from the first
moment I contacted you. I have never know anyone who responds to an email as quick
as you do!! And this is what made me trust your company from the beginning.
Without
knowing you personally, I felt I could trust you and I was proven right. How I
found your web page is a miracle because I am not good at surfing the net....So,
as everything , it was meant to be and we could not have chosen a better travel
agency!!! We will definitely recommend you to anyone who wants to travel in India.
As
for us, I know that we will be in contact again . There is so much we still want
to see!!
